Promethus Business Consulting Inc. operates promethusconsulting.com. This page explains what the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language rather than legal language, on purpose.
What is collected
When you browse the site. Pages viewed, time on each page, how you arrived (a search, a link, a message, a scanned QR code), approximate location at city level derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. This is recorded as visit data, not tied to your name.
Session recordings and heatmaps. An anonymized recording of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, used to see where pages fail people. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not captured.
When you book a conversation. Your name, email address, company, sector, and whatever you write in the message field. This goes into HubSpot, the scheduling and contact system Promethus uses.
When you email or call. Whatever you choose to send.

These providers process and store data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Why it is collected
To see which pages help people decide, to fix the ones that do not, and to answer you when you get in touch.
It is not used for advertising. Promethus does not sell or rent personal information, does not run advertising pixels on this site, and does not build profiles for anyone else.
How long it is kept
Visit and analytics data is retained for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
Session recordings are retained for the period set in the recording tool and are deleted automatically after that.
Contact records created when you book a conversation are kept while there is an active or prospective working relationship, and removed on request at any time.
Cookies
The site sets a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work at all. These cannot be turned off.
Analytics and session recording cookies load only after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Decline them and the site works exactly as it does otherwise. The visit simply is not counted.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this site and reloading the page.
