Industries

Where this work applies

The same operating patterns show up across all four industries. Each has its own language, regulator, and consequences. Our founder has worked inside all four over 27 years. We work from Calgary with companies across North America.

Oil and gas service companies

Field and wellsite services, asset integrity, inspection, construction, maintenance and turnaround, asset communications, environmental, surveying and locating. Crews spread across client sites, work won on relationships and delivery, and each client holding you to their own standard.

What we seeYou grew on relationships and delivery. Somewhere past fifty people, the business outgrows the informal system that got it there. Scheduling runs ahead of field capacity. Safety programs get written for the client portal instead of the crew, and compliance lives in one person's head. The owner is still the escalation point for decisions three levels down. Your clients audit all of it, and a prequalification downgrade can stop the work orders.

What we buildOne way of operating for the whole company: scheduling tied to real field capacity, safety programs your crews recognize as their own, decision rights set so the owner is called for the decisions that need an owner, and prequalification kept current by the system, whoever is in the chair. Our founder worked inside service companies, then inside the operators that buy from them, so we know what that audit is looking for.

Energy producers

Mid-cap and private producers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and US basins. Wells, facilities, and pipelines spread across a wide area, with a regulator, landowners, and lenders each watching how obligations are met.

What we seeMid-cap producers carry the regulatory and liability obligations of a large operator with a fraction of the corporate function. Closure quotas, site liability assessments, field inspection items, and pipeline rules each carry a deadline, and the regulator weighs how you meet them when deciding on license transfers, security, and enforcement. Behind those sit maintenance and integrity backlogs, reclamation commitments, vendor controls, and repeat safety incidents. Decision rights blur between the field, the office, and the executive team.

What we buildOne operating framework brings all of this into a single view. Every obligation has an owner, a date, and verification when it closes. Leadership sees asset capacity, throughput, and open commitments on current information. The regulator, landowners, and lenders see a company in control of its operation.

Midstream and pipelines

Gathering, processing, terminals, storage, and transmission. Regulated at every step, with integrity, emergency response, and landowner obligations that continue for the life of the asset.

What we seeGrowth by acquisition brings systems built at different times for different owners: two ways of managing change, three versions of the same procedure, and integrity programs run asset by asset. Regulators, landowners, and emergency responders expect one standard across the whole system, and each inconsistency can become a finding at the next audit.

What we buildOne management system across every asset: one way of managing change, one procedure set, and integrity and emergency response programs that read the same in every district. Our founder spent twelve years inside pipeline companies, including merging two management systems into one for a 6,000-person company.

Mining

Open pit and underground operations, processing, and tailings. Long project cycles, multiple sites, and a workforce spread across contractors and jurisdictions with different standards.

What we seeAs mines go deeper and grades decline, output varies and cost pressure rises. Process and data quality issues build across departments, and safety standards drift between sites. The license to operate depends on showing communities and governments one consistent way of working.

What we buildOne system across sites gives leadership the full picture and every site the same standard: shared processes, one source of operating data, and safety programs that hold from site to site.

Other asset intensive businesses

The pattern is the same: asset intensive, regulated, and grown past the systems it started with. If that describes your company, the first conversation is worth having.
